WHEN THAT TOP-MOUNT INTERCOOLER WON’T CUT IT ANYMORE

Although the top-mount intercooler is efficient for stock Subaru STI models, once you perform modifications that will increase the power and the boost, you will surpass the limits of that factory top-mount. Not only can you experience heat soak, you will also put a limit on the performance of those modifications which will put a limit on your overall performance. Extreme Turbo Systems which build components that are tested on their record-breaking vehicles have developed this large front mount intercooler core.

This is a large core that will lower those intake charge temperatures and it has a high horsepower rating for those of you with mild to moderate bolt-ons. Note that intercooler piping will not be included, and might be a good option for those of you who need to make pipes to accommodate custom turbo setups.
